In April 2008, Dr. Guen was appointed to the WFCMS Board of Directors and made director of the American TCM Psychology branch. His duty is to promote interest in WFCMS and TCM psychology in the English speaking countries.

Dr. Guen is also founder of the American Institute of TCM Psychology providing a platform for collegial research and development of TCM psychology and its practical applications in medicine, education, relationships, business, sports, and industry.
